About After Supper

Faithful leadership, shared around the table.

Grounded in lived faith and years of hands-on ministry, we bring practical leadership, governance, and fundraising experience to help local churches navigate change with confidence.

After Supper is led by people who care deeply about the Church and who have spent years working in the local church. Not just in theory. Not just from a distance. But in the day-to-day reality of leadership, stewardship, and walking alongside communities trying to figure out what’s next. We’ve worked with churches navigating change, carrying responsibility with limited resources, and trying to stay faithful without becoming something they’re not. Our work is built on real experience in leadership, governance, fundraising, and community engagement. But more than that, it’s shaped by lived faith and the real conversations we’ve had alongside churches. This is the work we’ve done with communities for years.

Why “After Supper”

We chose the name After Supper on purpose. It holds two meanings for us:

It’s when the best conversations happen. The pressure is off, stories get shared, ideas are surfacing, and there’s space to reflect and name what matters.

It points to the Eucharist. After we’re fed at God’s Table, the work begins. We return to our communities to live what we’ve received.

Your Resource Hub

Some organizations provide training. Some provide research. Some provide consulting. After Supper provides partnership. We work alongside churches and denominational leaders to bring clarity, build capacity, and move important work forward in ways that are practical and sustainable.

Who We Partner With

If you are carrying responsibility for leadership, stewardship, or change in a church context, you are in the right place.

  • Small and mid‑size congregations
  • Diocesan and regional offices
  • Church plants and revitalization efforts
  • Faith‑based ministries and nonprofits

How We Partner

This is not a one-size-fits-all plan. We’re here to walk with you so your church can move forward in a way that fits who you are and who you’re called to be in your context.

A Conversation

We start by sitting down with you. No pressure, just a real conversation about what’s going on in your church and community.

Clarity & Direction

From there, we help you name what matters, what needs attention now, and where you can focus your energy.

Practical Support

We don’t leave you with ideas. We walk alongside you to help you and your congregation move forward with confidence.

Land Acknowledgment

Every table has a place. Ours begins on the traditional and unceded territories of the Mi’kma’ki, Wolastoqey, and Peskotomuhkati Peoples, where After Supper is written. These lands are covered by the Peace and Friendship Treaties, agreements that provided a framework for ongoing relationships without the surrender of Indigenous lands. As these conversations travel across Turtle Island to church leaders in communities across Canada, we remember that each of us gathers on Indigenous lands with stories that long predate our own. We are grateful for the care Indigenous Peoples have shown these lands and seek to participate in relationships of listening, respect, and reconciliation.
